These books are amazing ive never actually had a whole collection of books by one author because they get to the point where they are the same thing. But the "Maura And Rizzoli" books are amazing not only do you get a crime and thriller but you also get a sense of reality with a hint of passion so i love following the home stories behind the crime. I actually read my first book from a magazine called company i think which was "The Body Double" i found it fasanating and since then ive read every book from the Maura and Rizzoli series i cant wait for the next and thanks for writing such amazing stories ! - Rebecca Smith

Rarely has a book had so many twists and turns and still manages to thrill you beyond belief. The best thing about this is that it heads in one direction with very eerie subplots stemming out along the way. Body Double is completely gripping and the plot is frighteningly inventive. It was also great to see a 'victim' actually defeat her captor, as so often the people who get murdered are sidelines to the main action. Bring on the next one! - Sarah Roscoe

I read this over the weekend and found it to be Tess Gerritsen at her best - definitely on a par with The Surgeon, if not better. I've just finished reading Body Double (was up half the night with it - talk about unputdownable, but decided at 5am that I should really get some sleep) and had to finish reading the final chapters at work. What a brilliantly conceived plot, with such a cast of strong and wonderfully diverse characters - from cool Maura to streetwise and sharp Rizzoli, the utterly chilling Amalthea and hilariously drawn Dwayne Purvis, and of course courageous Mattie (go GI Jane!)
